Campus Macro Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026. This policy explains what Campus Macro collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: your name and email address when you sign up.
• Profile and goals: what you enter during setup, such as age, sex used for estimates, height, weight, activity level, goals, dietary restrictions, allergens and your school. Dorm, major and social details are optional.
• What you log: food and drink entries, saved meals, favorites, weight check-ins, hydration, schedule events and meal plans.
• Photos and questions you submit: food photos you choose to estimate and questions you ask the Dining Guide.
• App usage: which screens you use, searches you type, device type and app version, used to fix problems and improve the app.
• Payments: Plus is billed through Stripe. We receive your subscription status and email, never your full card number.

How we use it

To run the app: calculate your targets, show your campus menus, save your logs, provide Plus features, process payments, answer support requests, keep the service secure and improve it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your food logs, weight or health-related details with advertisers or sponsors.

Ads and sponsors

Free members may see ads. Plus members do not. Some ads are from local businesses near your campus. Sponsors receive only total counts of how many times their ad was shown and tapped, never who saw it.

We may also show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ad Settings and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. We ask Google not to show ads for diet pills or weight-loss products.

Services we rely on

Campus Macro is hosted on Base44. Payments are processed by Stripe. Food searches may be sent to nutrition data providers such as the USDA, Open Food Facts and FatSecret to find matching foods. Photo estimates and Dining Guide answers are generated by AI services that process what you submit. These providers handle data only to provide their service to us.

Your choices

• Export or delete your app data at any time from Profile → Your data.
• Social features such as leaderboards and sharing are optional and can be turned off in your profile.
• Cancel Plus at any time from Membership → Manage billing.

Students and age

Campus Macro is built for college students and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Health information

Campus Macro provides educational nutrition estimates, not medical advice. If you are concerned about eating, weight or a medical condition, talk with a qualified clinician.
